I've been on the spiritual path of self discovery  and conscious living for over 20 years, new age, old age, traditional religion, modern psycology, and even physics.  I have come to the realization that in the present moment, I know all that I need to know, and if I need to know something new, the universe will supply it to me when I need it (and hopefully I will be paying attention at the time).  For how and why things are what they are, I like the Michael Teachings.  For a quick reference of universal laws, I like The Kybalion.   I also like Abraham-Hicks, and Eckhart Tolle.   It's all about being grounded, balanced, centered, and connected to spirit, in the present moment.
